Southern Blight in Industrial Hemp

Sarah Tarver is a plant and soil system major. Tarver is researching southern blight in industrial hemp. Tarver got involved in undergrad research by asking around different professors to see if they needed any student workers or needed any help on research that they were working on.

Tarver said that overall it amazing opportunity because she is able to put a lot of things that she learned in class into real applications. Tarver cannot encourage undergraduate research enough. She said that it has helped her learn more about her major, and given her more hands-on experiences and connections around campus.
