Jackie Bach Named Vice Provost for Academic Programs & Support Services
Dr. Jacqueline Bach has been named the vice provost for academic programs & support services in the Office of Academic Affairs. Dr. Bach’s appointment will be effective immediately.
Dr. Bach has served in this role on a temporary assignment since August of 2021 and has executive oversight and coordination for degree, certificate and auxiliary academic programs and support services. She oversees five academic support units including: LSU Discover, Communication across the Curriculum, LSU Cain Center, Center for Community Engagement, Learning & Leadership and the Cox Academic Center for Student Athletes while providing administrative guidance for the Learning & Teaching Collaborative, a program dedicated to faculty enhancement and development.
Dr. Bach received her PhD in philosophy from Oklahoma State University in 2006, her master's in English from the University of West Florida and her bachelor's in English/secondary English education from Florida State University.
