LSU’s annual Faculty Colloquium on effective teaching and learning, co-sponsored by Campus Federal Credit Union, will feature Dr. Linda Nilson, author of Creating Self-Regulated Learners: Strategies to Strengthen Students' Self-Awareness and Learning Skills. This year's colloquium will be held on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 from 8:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. The keynote address will draw from the speaker’s 25-year tenure of college teaching and scholarly productivity. The follow-up interactive workshop will focus on best and worst teaching approaches based on research from faculty, staff and students. Lunch will be provided and will include the opportunity for an informal Q&A session with Dr. Nilson.
