Assessment

Each department develops a strategic plan based on the divisional plan. With goals supported by strategies to independently establish short-term actions to advance them, performance indicators provided for each goal provide a critical means of assessing progress.

Yearly Assessment Process

  • Part 1: Assessment Contact provides outline of all projects happening in department and evaluate whether assessment should be continued
  • Part 2: Assessment Contact identifies areas of unit that they believe should be assessed
  • Part 3: Department Head surveys to identify data needs, areas to be assessed, assessment needs of strategic plan goals, etc.
  • Part 4: Consultation with Assessment Contact and Department Head
  • Part 5: Department implements assessment projects as outlined in consultation
