eBird
The Louisiana Bird Resource Office is the Louisiana hub for eBird and is responsible for developing filters, corresponding with contributors, and reviewing flagged records. We work closely with the Cornell Lab of Ornithology to improve the use and applicability of eBird for Louisiana birders and biologists.
Louisiana has an eBird data entry portal for the Louisiana Bird Atlas so if you are looking for the data entry page select the hotspot above.
The eBird website has many resources and guidance articles that deal with particular challenges of counting birds and entering data. We offer a few here as a primer for Louisiana eBirders.
