Incident

An incident involving a brandished firearm took place on September 4, 2024, at approximately 8:55 p.m. on Highland Rd near Veterans Dr. No one was injured in the incident.

In the incident, a subject was walking on Highland Road when the occupants of a vehicle drove near an individual then yelled at them and brandished a firearm. The individual immediately left the area, and no further contact was made with the occupants of the vehicle. The LSU Police Department is investigating the incident.
