Incident

LSU Police have been notified of an armed robbery that occurred on South Campus Drive overnight. The victim was shot during the altercation and was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. This remains an active investigation, and if you have any information related to the incident, please contact LSU Police.

UPDATE

LSUPD investigated the Aug. 19 attempted armed robbery and shooting and found it was not a random crime and involved two individuals who were known to each other. A warrant is out for the suspect’s arrest.
