LSU GeauxGrants

GeauxGrants Help Desk

GeauxGrants is LSU's electronic Research Administration (eRA) platform for managing research-related activities, including Sponsored Projects, Financial Conflicts of Interest, and PM-11 disclosures. Each of the following pages contains specific help, training guides and FAQs for faculty, staff, and administrators.

Conflict of Interest Disclosures

In compliance with the Louisiana Code of Governmental Ethics and with federal financial conflict of interest disclosure requirements, GeauxGrants provides several modules for faculty and staff to disclose outside employment and external financial interests that could pose a financial conflict of interest in research.

Grants & Proposals

GeauxGrants has replaced SPS as the computer system of record for proposal development, tracking and award processing for externally funded grants. While faculty will be able to use proposal development to build and submit their projects, proposal tracking and award processing will only be handled by grant administrators.

Research Compliance & Integrity

Institutional review boards (IRBs) oversee research involving human and animal subjects by health care, academic, governmental and other agencies and organizations. They exist to protect the safety, health and privacy of research subjects, and provide a safe and secure research environment.
