School of Kinesiology announces 16th annual golf tournament

05/08/14

The LSU School of Kinesiology will host its 16th annual Golf Tournament May 11, 2015 at the University Club in Baton Rouge, La. Interested participants should register by April 27, 2015.

All proceeds from the event provide support for kinesiology students and the school. To date, the tournament has provided more than 52 students, like Lauren Stanley, with scholarships.

“The Premier Scholarship has furthered my studies by allowing me to be able to afford to take a summer class and attend the 2015 SHAPE America National Convention & Expo in Seattle, WA,” Stanley shared. “Attending a national convention will give me the opportunity to learn from professors, teachers, and students across the nation about the latest research in physical education through innovative workshops.”

Want to do your part to assist students like Stanley in furthering their educational goals? Register today. All golfers are welcome but, the School of Kinesiology encourages teams of four to participate at $125/golfer.
