LSU Kinesiology Cadaver Lab Student Teaching Assistants Accepted to Multiple Health Programs Nationwide

Rachel Cretini
Major: Kinesiology
Hometown: Prairieville, Louisiana
DPT School Acceptances: Medical University of South Carolina, University of Utah, LSU Health Science Center New Orleans, University of Tennessee Health Science Center, University of North Florida
Biography: Cretini is grateful for the valuable education that she has received at LSU, which has set her up for success on the journey to be accepted into physical therapy school. Cretini states that the support of her LSU professors has ensured that she will prosper in her future career. One of her favorite experiences in her time at LSU was the cadaver lab courses and becoming a TA for the lab. After graduation, Cretini plans to attend the Medical University of South Carolina in the pursuit of becoming a physical therapist.
Lauren Dale
Major: Kinesiology
Hometown: Central, Louisiana
PA School Acceptances: LSU Health Science Center Shreveport, Samford University, Harding University, Oklahoma State University
Biography: Dale has remained dedicated to both her education and membership in multiple student organizations while majoring in Kinesiology at LSU. Between her involvement as the President of the Pre-Physician Assistant Collegiate Society and becoming a Teaching Assistant for the human cadaver lab, she has spent her time as a Tiger preparing for her bright future as a physician assistant. Dale expresses great enthusiasm as an LSU Tiger through her consistent commitment to school spirit and representing her university through academics. Dale plans to attend LSUHS after graduation and become a physician assistant in the class of 2026.
Katie Haydel
Major: Kinesiology
Hometown: Houma, Louisiana
DPT School Acceptances: LSU Health Science Center Shreveport (with scholarship), LSU New Orleans, Texas Woman’s University in Houston, and the University of South
Alabama
Biography: Haydel expresses gratitude for her time at LSU, as she has gained both a deepened understanding of anatomy while developing essential teaching, communication, and leadership skills as a Gross Anatomy and Human Cadaver Lab Teaching Assistant. Haydel's involvement spans both across campus as a member of Chi Omega Sorority, as well as internationally through her medical and dental mission to Guatemala with Global Brigades. Haydel will begin the pursuit of her DPT at LSU Health Shreveport in May.
Rylie Neal
Major: Kinesiology
Hometown: Houma, Louisiana
PA School Acceptances: Medical University of South Carolina, University of South Alabama
Biography: Neal reflects back on her last four years at LSU with both honor and gratitude for the innumerable experiences that the university has provided her in furthering both herself and her education. Neal's most memorable times as an LSU student include serving medically underserved communities in Belize, dissecting and researching anomalous discoveries found in human cadavers, and participating in Greek Life as a member of Kappa Delta Sorority. Neal states that her time at LSU has forged lifelong connections and instilled personal growth. She will attend the Medical University of South Carolina in order to receive a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies.
