Tell us about your involvement in the School of Kinesiology and on campus.
I am a member of the Delta Zeta sorority and was the chair for our “Homeruns for Hearing”
event held in 2019 that helped raise money for our philanthropy. I was also involved
in the LSU Women’s Club Volleyball organization in 2018 and Vice President of the
club in 2019. In 2019, I volunteered at the LSU “Geaux Big” event.
How did you choose to study Kinesiology?
I have struggled to figure out what I wanted to do in life, but I feel as though this
career suits who I am as a person. I have always been involved in sports and physical
activity throughout my life, and I knew that I wanted to give back my knowledge and
love for physical activity to children in schools.
What are you looking to pursue after you graduate?
I am looking to work as a physical educator at either a middle school or high school
after I graduate. I am also currently interested in coaching a volleyball team!
What advice would you have for your fellow students?
Enjoy your years here at LSU and the friendships you make because time truly flies
by.
Anything else you'd like to include?
My hobbies include playing beach volleyball and tennis, walking my dog Kona, and traveling.
