Dual Degree Candidate Award Winners Spring 2023

Tassone and Crousillac Honored

 

Abigail Tassone and Collin Crousillac were recently recognized for excellence in teaching exhibited during the 2022-2023 academic year.

The daughter of Paul and Paula Tassone of Gardner, Massachusetts, Abigail received the 2023 Accomplished Special Education Student Teacher Award. Abigail graduated in May with a Bachelor of Arts degree and will be certified as a grades 1-5 elementary and special education/mild-moderate disabilities teacher. She has taken a teaching position at Cohn Elementary in Port Allen.

Collin, from Plaquemine and the son of Laurie and Lucas Crousillac, received the 2023 Outstanding First Year Special Education Student Award. Collin recently completed his junior year at LSU in the dual degree certification program. He is scheduled to complete his residency year at Brusly Upper Elementary School in the 2023-2024 academic year and graduate in May 2024.
