Opportunities at CEL

Graduate research assistants

CEL is actively recruiting multiple graduate students interested in pursuing a M.S. or Ph.D. in Biological Engineering at Louisiana State University (LSU). Research focus is flexible, depending on the strengths and interests of the applicant. Projects at CEL encompass both experimental studies of cardiovascular biology and mechanics as well as computational modeling and simulation of cardiovascular function. Applicants with expertise in either or both of these areas are encouraged to apply (past experience does not need to be in cardiovascular applications).

Note: Applicants to the Ph.D. program will be preferred over equally qualified applicants to the M.S. program.
