submit nominations for faculty awards

Full descriptions of the awards can be found on our website. A faculty member may be nominated for only one of the above-listed awards. Individual faculty members, department heads or deans may initiate nominations.

All nominations must be channeled through the nominee's department head to the dean's office. Deans will review all nominations for their faculty members and submit them via the link below no later than Friday, February 16, 2024. Please note that each college may have its own internal deadline for receiving nominations prior to this date.

The final nomination materials for each nominee should be combined into a single PDF file and labeled with the nominee's last name and the name of the award (e.g. "Smith_Distinguished Faculty Award"). Requirements for the nomination packets can be found on our website.

Recipients will be recognized at the annual University Faculty Awards Ceremony in the spring semester. Please contact academicaffairs@lsu.edu if you have any questions.

Sincerely,
