A set of training courses will be offered to seafood processors on Jan. 22 and Jan. 23-25.
The first course is Sanitation Control Procedures (SCP) on 22 nd beginning at 8:30 a.m. Registration is $95 and is due by Jan. 12. The second course is Hazard Analysis of Critical Control Points (HACCP) on Jan. 23-25 th. Registration is $195 and also due by Jan. 12.
The courses are sponsored by the LSU AgCenter and will be held in 212 Efferson Hall on the LSU Baton Rouge campus. Registration includes textbooks, certificates of completion (issued by the Association of Food and Drug Officials) and refreshments.
Efferson Hall is at the edge of the LSU campus. It is located at the corner of Highland Road and Parker Avenue. Parking is available in lots adjacent to the building. There is no cost for parking and there is no need to request a parking permit.
