LSU to be Closed Wednesday, Sept. 1

Dear LSU Community,

LSU will be closed on Wednesday, Sept. 1, due to the impacts of Hurricane Ida across South Louisiana. While we are making good progress on getting campus cleaned up and ready to return to normal operations, we must also give our students and employees time to address the various issues they are facing as a result of the storm.  

Essential personnel should check with their supervisors about their schedules for Wednesday.

As always, Residence Halls will remain open and on-campus residents should follow the instructions of Residential Life staff regarding operations and meals. Visit the LSU Dining website and LSU Dining social media for more details on meal availability.

We will announce changes to the academic calendar as soon as possible.
