Non-destructive testing technology developed by Advanced Microwave Imaging

July 01, 2022

Robert Stakenborghs gives a demonstration of his microwave imaging testing.

Advanced Microwave Imaging is a company that uses a unique form of technology to scan solid materials to detect whether the materials are structurally sound. This is useful, especially for engineers, due to its ability to reduce destructive testing. Advanced Microwave Imaging is a more efficient way to test out if materials have any possible major discontinuities inside of a specific part. This type of testing saves its users lots of time and money because of its way of being able to see directly through materials versus having to cut through them.
