2019 HGSA Conference
The LSU History Graduate Student Association invites you all to the Tenth HGSA Conference. It will take place February 22-23, 2019 at the Honors College French House. Our keynote speaker will be Puerto Rican historian Pedro Reina-Pérez. He is an award-winning historian and journalist specializing in the contemporary Spanish Caribbean. He is a Full Professor of Humanities, and Arts and Cultural Agency and Administration at the University of Puerto Rico in Río Piedras and director of the Harvard Puerto Rico Winter Institute. Besides teaching, he is a contributing writer for multiple newspapers as well the author of eleven books and edited volumes.
