Biography
Saiward Pharr Hromadka is an Instructor in the Department of English and Louisiana State University. Her current areas of interest include ungrading pedagogy, rhetoric and composition, and Artificial Intelligence in the writing process.
Pharr Hromadka earned her Bachelor of Arts in English Literature at the University of Georgia and a Master of Arts in English Literature from Auburn University, with a focus on Victorian literature. She completed the course work for a PhD in English Literature at Louisiana State University before accepting other opportunities that included time as an award-winning journalist, a public relation officer, and a professional standards officer. In 2021 she gladly returned to academia and has thoroughly enjoyed helping students while growing as an instructor and academic.
