Faculty Fellowships in Teaching Ethics
The new guidelines for LSU General Education requirements include an ethical reasoning proficiency. If you are interested in developing a course in your discipline in which ethical reasoning figures prominently and, therefore, satisfies the ethical reasoning proficiency, OR if you simply wish to add an ethical reasoning component to one of your upper level courses, the LSU Ethics Institute is offering several $1,000 faculty fellowships for the development of those courses, as well as substantive support if you so desire.
Applications are competitive and will be evaluated by the Director and a subcommittee of the LSU Ethics Institute Advisory Board. Applications will be reviewed and accepted on a rolling basis. Applicants may apply on-line in the following manner.
Deadline to apply for the Faculty Fellowship in Teaching Ethics: On or before April 15, 2020
