AREA OF EXPERTISE: While I am a medical entomologist by training, my unique area of expertise is developing multidisciplinary research teams to answer complex applied research questions. As a result, we often conduct research with very broad implications.

 

My lab is extremely diverse, with research interests in medical entomology, public health entomology, and pollinator ecology.  We work very closely with collaborators in Louisiana, such as local mosquito control districts, crawfish farmers, and the USDA Honey bee breeding, physiology, and genetics laboratory here in Baton Rouge.
