2022 Promotion and Tenure

LSU would like to announce and recognize its faculty who have been promoted and/or tenured this academic year. Our extraordinary faculty have dedicated their expertise, talents and passion to LSU, and for that, our university consistently excels in achieving excellence in all realms of teaching, research, service and creative works. Consideration for promotion and tenure is a process of over a year’s worth of in-depth review by LSU faculty and external reviewers from academia. After review by those in a faculty member’s given discipline, dossiers are reviewed by a Provost’s Advisory Committee of graduate faculty and by the executive vice president & provost, then ultimately by the president for final approval.
