An internship is a hands-on experience in a professionally supervised environment where a savvy mass communication student puts classroom learning to practical use. Available in all areas of mass communication: digital advertising, journalism, political communication, public relations, digital, social media or a combination. Our students have interned at the U.S. Capitol, Smithsonian Museum of Art, The Washington Post, ESPN and literally hundreds of other businesses, and nonprofits across the nation.
