I chose this work because I believe, and have personally found, that the outdoors and outdoor activities are amazing tools to facilitate growth as a group or as an individual. I chose campus recreation because of how tremendously rewarding it is to watch and students’ growth throughout their college experience.

Alternate career

If I didn't work in university recreation, I would be a high school Economics teacher and an outdoor educator in the summers.  

Advice I don't leave home without

“Talk does not cook rice."

Home run team

I was part of a team that won the 12U AAA Baseball State Championship.
