Textiles, Merchandising & Apparel Minor
The minor in Textiles, Merchandising and Apparel (TMA) is available for students interested in studying an overview of the textile and apparel industry. Required courses form a foundation for understanding textiles and apparel. Upper level courses allow students to select a focus on the historical or business aspects of apparel.
Students majoring in Agricultural Economics, Art, Business, Entrepreneurship, Human Sciences, Management, Marketing, Mass Communication, and Theater can enhance their area of study by completing the TAM minor.
To graduate with a TMA minor, student must complete a total of 19 credit hours from a specified list of courses. Students must have a 2.0 GPA in the courses used to satisfy the minor and must comply with all pre-requisites for TAM classes. The TMA minor is not available to students majoring in Textiles, Apparel Design and Merchandising.
