Brand & Creative
Our copywriters/editors and designers work with units at every LSU campus to create visual and textual narratives for external and internal audiences. Our primary goal is to highlight LSU’s essence and reinforce our brand across the state and beyond. Our communications focus is always through the prism of the university’s overarching goals.
The LSU brand is more than our logo and our purple and gold colors. It’s what you--our students, faculty, staff, alumni, corporations, peers, donors, and outside onlookers--think, feel, and respond to when you encounter anything and everything LSU.
Our Brand Guide provides a framework to help you work within and adhere to the LSU brand in both your copy and design, and our creative team is also here to provide guidance, should you have questions as you develop projects for your unit. Templates are available for your use when creating one-sheeters, postcards, ads, and a variety of other projects.
We appreciate your help in maintaining and enhancing the LSU brand. With consistent use, our brand grows stronger and allows LSU to put its best foot forward in everything we do as an institution.
Our creative team reviews reputation-defining materials (as outlined in Policy Statement 10) to ensure brand consistency. Please send your projects to email@example.com for copy and design review and approval prior to printing. Allow a minimum of two to three business days for review and feedback; more time may be necessary for lengthy projects.
Please note: If your publication contains academic course or degree information, text should be approved by the Office of the University Registrar.
