of Wildlife and Fisheries, seeks public comment on the State
Management Plan for Aquatic Invasive Species in Louisiana.

Invasive species
are non-native plants, animals and microorganisms likely to
cause adverse environmental, economic and/or human health
impacts.
The Task Force
has determined that invasive species pose a serious threat
to the economic and ecological health of Louisiana. This draft
management plan describes the nature and extent of this potential
threat and proposes specific actions toward addressing it.

Management Plan for Aquatic Invasive Species in Louisiana
