Changes to COVID-19 Testing Locations Tomorrow

August 24, 2020; 6:22 p.m.

Dear LSU Community,

There have been some changes in availability of the on-campus COVID-19 Testing Centers tomorrow, Aug. 25. Only one on-campus COVID-19 Testing Center will be open to those  who do not live in a residence hall tomorrow: the location on Nicholson Drive next to the LSU Foundation Building (near Skip Bertman Drive). It will be open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

For those who do live in residence halls, there will be testing done in certain halls. You will receive an email from LSU Residential Life with those details. You must be a resident of a particular residence hall in order to be tested in that hall.

To schedule a test, visit https://www.lsu.edu/roadmap/health/testing.php and follow the instructions. A telemedicine consultation is required to schedule a test, and can be done any day until 10 p.m.

Anyone who tests positive should notify LSU by indicating a positive test result in the daily symptom checker. They should also follow the protocols outlined at https://www.lsu.edu/roadmap/health/symptoms.php.

The free testing sites at the Union and the PMAC will remain closed tomorrow. Please check for updates on availability later this week at https://www.lsu.edu/roadmap/health/testing.php.

LSU students can always contact the Student Health Center if they have symptoms of COVID-19, where testing is also available if recommended by a clinician.
