Required Monthly Testing for Unvaccinated Students

All LSU students who choose to remain unvaccinated or are unvaccinated due to medical, religious or other reasons must do the following:

  1. Complete the exemption/waiver form on the LSU Student Health Center Patient Portal
  2. Complete monthly COVID-19 testing on campus.

 

Students will be notified via their LSU.edu email address when it is time to report for monthly testing. That email communication will include a link to register for a testing time slot and location on campus.  Required monthly testing must be completed at an on-campus testing site. The email will come from noreply@qemailserver.com

Unvaccinated students who have tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 90 days will receive the notification to test on a monthly basis but will not be required to test. These students must follow the registration link in the email to indicate they have tested positive in the last 90 days and provide the date of that positive test. Once the 90 days have passed, students will be required to comply with the monthly testing requirement or get vaccinated.

Students who get vaccinated must upload proof of vaccination.

Uploading proof of vaccination will remove students from the list of those required to test monthly. All students living in residential halls, whether vaccinated or unvaccinated are required to comply with waste-water triggered testing.

Failure to comply with the monthly testing requirement for unvaccinated students will constitute a violation of the LSU Code of Student Conduct and may impact the ability to remain on campus and participate in any in-person activities.
