Spruce Hall meets the needs of 21st century college students while still reflecting the architectural style of LSU and feeling of home with ample indoor-outdoor spaces, and welcoming community spaces. In fall 2018 Spruce Hall opened its doors to 400 students in two-student, suite-bathroom style of rooms.
Located on the west side of campus by The Enchanted Forest, Spruce Hall offers residents easy access to The 5 dining hall, The Quad, Middleton Library, the Greek Amphitheater, and most athletic venues. The first floor is an open area with classrooms, offices, numerous study spaces, spacious courtyards, kitchen and laundry facilities, and a front desk.
Beginning Fall 2019, the Engineering Residential College will be housed in Spruce Hall.
