Spring Family Fling

February 15 - 17, 2019

Each spring, all LSU Family Association members are invited to campus for our annual Spring Family Fling to enjoy a weekend of LSU athletic events and to experience Louisiana culture and cuisine, while mingling with other LSU families. Laissez les bon temps rouler!

This year's Spring Family Fling will be held Friday, February 15 through Sunday, February 17, 2019. 

Registration

Registration is now open! All current LSU Family Association members should have received an email on January 9 with details about how to complete the registration process. If you did not receive an email, please check your spam/junk folder, then email us at lsufamily@lsu.edu

Registration will close on Sunday, February 3 at 11:59 p.m. CST.

LSU School of Theatre's production of Our Town
Show begins at 7:30 p.m.
Shaver Theatre, Music & Dramatic Arts Building
Cost: Adult tickets are $19 each. Student tickets are $11 each.

Saturday, February 16, 2019

Cajun Cookout Tailgate
11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Canal Hall Lobby and Courtyard, Nicholson Gateway Apartments, 3650 Nicholson Dr.
Cost: $25 per person (does not include crawfish). $35 per person with crawfish. Free for children 12 years old and younger.

Tailgate with us before the LSU Baseball game, while you satisfy your cravings for some classic cajun cuisine like jambalaya, gumbo, meat pies, boudin balls, and more. We'll have tailgate games, a photobooth, music, and fun for the whole family! Registration includes a Spring Family Fling souvenir.

LSU Baseball vs. Army
Begins at 2:00 p.m.
Alex Box Stadium
Cost: $4 per ticket. Tickets available in Sections 102, 201, and standing room only.

Information about how to purchase discounted tickets to the LSU Baseball vs. Army game will be available once you complete registration for the Spring Family Fling. There will be a limited amount of tickets available for the game.

Mocktails & Masterpieces
6:00 to 9:00 p.m.
LSU Student Union
Cost: $45 per person

Guests will receive step-by-step instruction from an experienced and enthusiastic local artist as they paint an LSU-themed piece of art on canvas. Enjoy some small bites and creative mocktails while you paint. You'll leave with your own one-of-a-kind creation.

Sunday, February 17, 2019

King Cake Tasting Party
11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Cost: $20 per person. Free for children 12 years old and younger.

Enjoy king cake samples from local bakeries, live music, door prizes, a souvenir, and vote for your favorites. The event will end with a New Orleans-style second line to the Pete Maravich Assembly Center (PMAC) for the LSU Gymnastics Meet.

LSU Gymnastics vs. Missouri

Begins at 2:10 p.m.
Pete Maravich Assembly Center (PMAC)
Cost: $8 per adult / $6 per youth for reserved seating in section 209. $3 per person for general admission seating.

Information about how to purchase discounted tickets to the LSU Gymnastics vs. Missouri meet will be available once you complete registration for the Spring Family Fling. There will be a limited amount of tickets available for the meet.

Cost: Free - no tickets required.
