Betsy (1965)

Betsy was the "Katrina" of my father's generation. When people spoke of "the storm" they meant Betsy. As in "your cousin had a camp over there ... until Betsy" or "we couldn't go shrimping after the storm because the trawls kept getting caught on submerged houses."
