President's Message
Welcome to the Web site for the Women’s Caucus for Political Science–South. For over 20 years, the WCPS-S has provided personal and professional support for women political scientists through service. The Caucus serves as a clearinghouse for information, informal networking, and publishing opportunities. The WCPS is one of five regional caucuses, and it strives to increase panel and convention activity, provide greater input in the Southern Political Science Association, and promote policies that support the interests of women in the profession.
Other regional associations include the Midwest Women's Caucus for Political Science and the Western Political Science Association Caucus for Women and Gender Justice.
This site was originally designed through the contributions of several individuals at Winthrop University: Department of Political Science alumni Erin English and Nina Cano; Professor Karen M. Kedrowski; and April Lovegrove, Political Science Administrative Specialist. Thanks to all for their hard work!
