Miscanthus sinensis ‘Zebrinus’Zebra Grass Zebra Grass is one of the most unusual selections of Miscanthus sinensis with wide yellow bands running perpendicular to the midrib giving a striped-like appearance. The inflorescence emerge coppery-pink in fall. While the clump of foliage may reach 3-5 feet in height with arching foliage, Zebra Grass has the tendency to flop over and spread out in late summer. The selection ‘Strictus’ (Porcupine Grass) has similar variegation, but the foliage remains erect creating an upright form. |
