Miscanthus sinensis ‘Gracillimus’Maiden Grass One of the oldest selections of Miscanthus sinensis in the nursery industry, Maiden Grass has very fine green leaves, ¼ -½ inch in width. The dense, erect clump of foliage reaches 3-5 feet in height. In the fall the inflorescences emerges as coppery panicles and mature to silver. ‘Gracilllimus’ resembles another old European selection ‘Silberfeder’, but can easily be distinguished by the color of its inflorescence. ‘Silberfeder’ emerges silver in color. |
