DEPARTMENT OF
ENTOMOLOGY
APPLIED AND TECHNOLOGY DRIVEN RESEARCH
ABOUT:
The LSU entomology department is a leader in combining applied and basic research to answer problems in entomology. These techniques not only help stakeholders throughout the country, but help provide valuable information in resistance management. The LSU Department of entomology is applying cutting edge techniques in the areas of basic and applied entomological research. This involves the use of new and advanced technology, including -omics based research. Our graduate students not only win awards at national competitions, but are successful in their career pursuits due to their experience in applied systems.
