The Making of an Art Museum

The LSU Early Childhood Education Laboratory Preschool, a Reggio Emilia-inspired preschool, recently showcased their art in a classroom art museum. The children studied famous artists such as Jackson Pollock, Andy Warhol, and Vincent Van Gogh and learned how to express their own creativity in the art studio.

Their projects culminated in the opening of the Museum of Children's Art, where the children showcased their work for their families, children from other classes, and members of the LSU community.

The National Association for the Education of Young Children's blog recently featured this project. Read the full article here.
