Tiger Den Incubator
The Ideation Lab in the E. J. Ourso College of Business has transformed into the Tiger Den Incubator for students running businesses while attending LSU to have a business incubator space in the BEC. The Tiger Den Incubator is an extension of the Student Incubator at Innovation Park and will offer:
- Co-working space
- 3D printer access
- Prototyping equipment and materials
- Conference room access to meet with clients
- Peer-to-peer networking with other student entrepreneurs
- and more
The Tiger Den is open to all LSU students, regardless of major, and is located on
the third floor of the Business Education Complex Rotunda. Non-Tiger Den residents
will also be able to access the 3D printers for class projects and prototype ideas.
To obtain Tiger Den residency, students should email Kenny Anderson, explaining the current status of their business as well as how Tiger Den residency could benefit their business.
To sustain residency, students must make continuing progress toward starting and growing their business as demonstrated by actions such as establishing a website or filing an LLC with the state. Students can receive help from Tiger Den mentors in fulfilling these requirements. Residents will also be expected to participate in co-curricular entrepreneurship activities such as the Venture Challenge as part of their residency requirements.
