Students wanting to get the undergraduate minor in applied statistics should contact the Department of Experimental Statistics (225.578.8389) as early in their program as possible to set up an advising appointment to schedule their minor coursework in order to help ensure that they will be able to graduate on time.
Undergraduate Minor in Applied Statistics (18 credits total)
Students must declare their minor area with the Academic Counselor in the College of Agriculture for the minor to appear on the student's official transcript. Upon completion of the minor, students must have a minimum GPA of 2.00 on all work taken in the minor field for both the LSU grade point average and the overall grade point average.
NOTE: The student must complete all requirements in the minor program no later than the semester of graduation from the major degree program.
