Turf and Landscape Management

Learn about turfgrass and landscape management as you cover topics such as plant selection, installation, and maintenance with emphasis on propagation, cultural practices, plant nutrition, and plant protection. You will sharpen your skills as you learn to manage various landscapes including golf courses, sports fields, botanic gardens, or residential and commercial landscapes as well as have the opportunity to intern at various positions across the country.Students in this concentration receive a broad education that prepares them for a variety of career paths.

Career Possibilities:athletic field manager, golf course superintendent, grounds manager or foreman, industry sales, lawn care companies, and agrichemical companies.
