Textiles, Apparel, and Merchandising

Textile Science

This broad based curriculum will give you experience in all areas of fashion as you gain technical and creative knowledge through unique learning opportunities. The Textile Science concentration will help you apply mathematical and scientific principles to the design, development, and manufacturing of fibers and fiber products. Refine your skills and gain expertise in textile production and the development of new fibers and their uses in society.

Career Possibilities: apparel designer, costume designer, fashion merchandiser, materials specialist, product development scientist, retail distribution manager, textile scientist, graduate or professional school.
