The Museum of Natural Science (MNS) Newsletter is published two times annually.
In addition to announcements of MNS business, it contains communications by faculty, staff, students, and alumni about their scientific research, field works, education and other endeavors of natural science themes.
The Occasional Papers of the LSU Museum of Natural Science is a scientific/peer-reviewed
publication founded in 1938. The journal is open access and available online for free.
Manuscript topics cover all aspects of natural history including: ecology, population
genetics, taxonomy, and phylogenetics.
