LSU has recently been named an affiliate campus of the National Coalition Building
Institute (NCBI), a proven leadership development program to reduce or eliminate bias,
discrimination, controversy, and interpersonal conflict on campus. This interactive
program has the potential to impact your life and the lives of those around you.
The Welcoming Diversity Workshops and Controversial Issues Workshops are available
for students, faculty, and staff members at LSU, the Paul M. Hebert Law Center, and LSU
School of Veterinary Medicine. The program is free to all participants, but advance
registration is required.
Over the past 33 years NCBI has developed into an international network of associates
who are trained in our highly effective NCBI principles and practices and who work
cooperatively to institutionalize diversity and inclusion programs.
NCBI empowers college campus, community organization, K-12 school, corporation, government
agency or law enforcement agency to take leadership and be able to institutionalize
the skills needed to welcome diversity and build an environment in which everyone
wants to belong.
