The MIE Graduate Student Conference is an annual event and a venue for graduate students to present their research findings to the University Community. It was founded in 2002 and is organized by the graduate students themselves with help from faculty. Click below to see information on previous years' Graduate Student Conferences.
The Dr. Robert W. Courter Seminar Series brings to campus prominent lecturers from academia, industry, business and government for the benefit of students and faculty and the community in general. Alumnus Mr. Sidney E. Fuchs sponsors the seminar series, which he dedicated to his former graduate advisor and mentor, Bob Courter. The seminars are typically held on Friday afternoons during the Fall and Spring semesters.
