Welcome Week

August 19-25, 2024

Welcome Week is the final phase of your orientation to LSU. This exciting event takes place right before the semester begins so that you can be completely comfortable and prepared to start your experience at LSU.

We know that students who attend Welcome Week are more confident when they start classes and are more successful throughout their time at LSU. This is because they have had the time to meet new friends, have learned about the resources that will help them to be successful here at LSU, and know what it means to be a true LSU Tiger. It’s also a lot of fun! Attendance at Welcome Week August 19-25 is mandatory for all members of the Class of 2028, and we can’t wait to see you back on campus!
