Open House (Self-Guided Tours)

During the Open House, prospective applicants have the opportunity to not only see a great deal of the school and hospital, but also to meet many of our current students and faculty members throughout the self-guided tour. Open house visitors can take their time walking through the self-guided tour and along the way receive presentations from our students on every aspect of the hospital.

Prospective Student Tours

We offer tours to prospective students who are within two years of applying to the veterinary program (i.e., college undergraduate students or higher). Guided tours are lead by our LSU DVM Student Ambassadors according to their availability. We will do our best to match your request with an available guide.

Use the request form below to schedule a tour at least one week in advance. Walk-in or drop-in tours and/or informational meetings are not available.

Due to biosecurity and safety restrictions in our hospital, this request is limited to two people (i.e. self + guest) and children are not permitted.

Requested tour dates and times are not guaranteed. You will receive an email confirming your tour if we are able to accommodate your request. If you are unable to make your scheduled tour, please email svmadmissions@lsu.edu to cancel.
