On Monday, May 13, Phillips 66 presented the LSU Foundation with a $50,000 gift to support the College of Engineering, in the areas of chemical, mechanical and diversity programs; and Career Services.
On April 27, LSU recognized a group of outstanding seniors as the Tiger 12 Class of 2013, which included Brianne Bergeron, Kelsey Bradbury, Aimee Chalin, Christine Derbins, Maxwell Derrickson, Elaine Giles, Kameron Kilchrist, Sarah Lichterman, Kolby Lirette, Lara Mertens, Adrienne Simon and Sharis Steib.
LSU recently recognized the Leadership LSU Class of 2013. Coordinated by Campus Life on behalf of the Office of the Dean of Students, Leadership LSU is designed to give a senior the experience of developing and applying their leadership at high levels while in their final semesters at LSU.
On Saturday, April 20, students volunteered in the local Baton Rouge community completing a variety of projects, including painting houses, cleaning and yard work as part of the inaugural Geaux BIG Baton Rouge event.
