Spruce Hall meets the needs of 21st century college students while still reflecting the architectural style of LSU and feeling of home with ample indoor-outdoor spaces, and welcoming community spaces. Opening in fall 2018, Spruce Hall houses 400 students in two-student, suite-bathroom style of rooms.
Located on the west side of campus by The Enchanted Forest, Spruce Hall offers residents easy access to The 5 dining hall, The Quad, Middleton Library, the Greek Amphitheater, and most athletic venues. The first floor is an open area with classrooms, offices, numerous study spaces, spacious courtyards, kitchen and laundry facilities, a front desk, and indoor bike storage.
The Career Discovery Residential College is housed on the first floor of Spruce Hall where students of all majors can explore majors and various career paths with their peers and the LSU Olinde Career Center.
The majority of Spruce Hall is available to first-year traditional students.
