Responsible Conduct

The integrity of our research is fundamental to our success as a university. LSU maintains the highest standards in our pursuit of new knowledge, scholarship and creativity.

Faculty who work in federally funded projects should be aware of required training for the Responsible Conduct of Research. LSU provides access to the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) for faculty who require it. We also recommend all faculty review the standards set forth in the LSU Policy on Research Misconduct (PS-69) so that they understand the importance of research integrity and know the process for identifying misconduct when it happens.
