The LSU campus is rated one of the most beautiful campuses in the world, but don't take our word for it. Let us show you around! From hundred-year-old oak trees to the friendliest squirrels around, the LSU campus is waiting for you and your family to come explore.
We welcome prospective students and their families. Most students who visit are in the 10th, 11th, or 12th grades, but younger students are welcome, also. While it never rains in Tiger Stadium, Baton Rouge weather is quite unpredictable, so we recommend that guests prepare for all weather conditions.
Campus Visits are offered Monday through Friday, excluding holidays, at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. School excuses are offered as needed.
LSU campus visits, led by our LSU staff members or campus liaisons, will take you to the most loved and important sites in the center of campus: The quadrangle, memorial tower, the Union, Tiger Stadium, the Business Education Complex, Patrick Taylor Hall and the UREC.
The tour does not include residence halls, athletic facilities, or senior colleges.
Campus visits are free and registration is required. Due to capacity restrictions, we recommend that families register at least two to four weeks in advance. If the time of the campus visit is not visible on your preferred visit date, this indicates that the tour is at maximum capacity, and we ask that you select your second preferred date.
Student-led walking tour of on-campus residence hall options. Tour duration could range from 30 to 60 minutes depending on your housing preferences. Housing tours are offered at 10:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m., and 3 p.m. every Monday through Friday, excluding university holidays and special events.
Kickoff LSU is the on-campus premiere event! This day-long open house for high school seniors and juniors, as well as their parents or guardians. During this university visit, you’ll learn about our amazing range of academic choices, unique resources, and state-of-the-art facilities and so much more!
Student-led walking tour of the academic areas of campus preceded by an admissions & student aid presentation. A walking tour of select residence halls will also be available immediately following the campus tour.
Explore Baton Rouge's history, culture, and events outside of the classroom with a tour of our capital city! This one-hour bus tour showcases the unique advantages of attending college in a city brimming with opportunity and excitement. Downtown Baton Rouge Tours are offered at 9 a.m. every Monday and Friday.
Group Tours are intended for groups or organizations made up of high school students, and are available on select days, Monday through Thursday.
